“FREE” Saturdays with ©MURAKAMI
Target sponsors every first Saturday at the Brooklyn Museum. I thought that meant that it was free, and it usually is. Except for THIS Saturday when Murakami’s stuff was there. It’s cool stuff. But damn, five bucks? AND they don’t allow any photography. I didn’t even go to the actual exhibit because of the price AND because it was so packed. Goddamn, that shit was packed. I’ll go pay the five bucks later in the month, when there’s less than 1,000,000 people in there at the same time. I went to the “dance party” but nobody was dancing so I left. I heard there’s an actual Louis Vuitton store as part of the installation. I thought that was cool, because secretly I’ve always thought of certain stores as galleries with art/products that you can actually wear. Check out some photos taken “by accident.”
